 Breast Cancer ScreeningAbout 50,000 women a year suffer from breast cancer in Germany. The number of breast cancer cases - even in younger women - has increased by more than 20 per cent during the last 25 years. Through early detection, breast cancer has an excellent chance of healing. The safest diagnostic tool today is the mammogram. A complementary ultrasound of the breast is often recommended.
